I'm trying to troulbleshoot a reaccuring problem. I downloaded the KB891711
update. Shortly after that I began having problems with my ISP which is AOL.
I know, I know, I should get rid of it. Anyway, honestly I've never had any
serious problems with AOL and now all of the sudden I do. I've reinstalled
AOL several times, ran scans and troubleshooted in Windows. Dr. Watson is the
only thing that found anything and it was this update. Can anyone help?

You don't need that update if you have WinXP service pack 2.
"Yes," is the answer to your subject question, but the group needs
you to furnish more information to help - which version Windows?

The 891711 update patch is known to be causing problems to some users with
Win9x systems - current advice is to either uninstall it, or prevent it
running, in such systems

Please download and run Everest Home Edition (www.lavalys.hu) and run it -
create a Report in HTML and email it to me - my email is valid.

Thanks
