No, you misunderstand me: When run from XP (as opposed to booting the DVD),
Vista's setup will right away check for certain updates that it incorporates
into the setup *for itself* (not for XP). I imagine this is done so they can
push out some Very Important updates that would pertain to installation or
application compatibility. I'm just looking to find which updates it pulled
down, which should be recorded somewhere. This must have been one of them,
since I can't install it now.
