Thanks for the excellent links. These will definitely be useful to us. The
one thing I did not see mentioned anywhere is how someone can make their own
update files that could then be installed following the procedures described
here. The updates we will need to apply to our embedded device won't always
be official Windows patches; we will also need to update our own software
(both applications and drivers) and using the Windows update framework to
perform these updates would be preferable to developing something of our
own.
