Sorry for my ignorance. I have Vista, and some of my older (XP Based)
programs cannot run. I heard that XP can be installed on Windows Vista.
Question is...can both Windows XP and Vista run on same computer? i.e. Click
to run XP...Click to run Vista.

Yes, its called Dual Boot, you would have to select the o/s when you boot up
However first check that winxp drivers are avilable for your PC/hardware

Maybe your old apps, have updates available?

You can either dual boot or install XP on a Virtual PC.

You can run Xp from within Vista if you use Virtual PC (free from MS).
Note: For a Virtual Machine to run smoothly, you must have more than 1
GB Ram.

If you have an XP disk there should be no cost.

Of course! You don't think that Microsh¡t will give you XP for free, do
you? If you want to *buy* it, you'll have to go to a computer store and
pull out the cash or credit card.
