How Can You Do This In Vista?

What effect do you turn on to make Vista do this?

You can' do this in Vista. Judging by the great big Penguin that is
prominently displayed in the intro, this is some variant of Linux.
Actually, after a quick Google search, it is an add-on window manager for
Linux distros.

There may be some third party add ons to Windows that may simulate this cool
effect, but this functionality is not part of Vista, or any version of
Windows.

Perhaps something by Stardock (www.stardock.com), creators of Window Blinds,
might have an add-on for an effect like this - but I have not seen one.

its the "3d" desktop of linux.. that needs far less GPU power to work that
Vista does, or in other words it works with older cards.

Vista COULD do this since its own 3d desktop is capable of doing such
effects IF a program was created to generate these effects..

however nobody has done such a thing... yet at least

Does Aero?

A 32mb video card likely also doesn't have sufficient 3D acceleration
capabilities for anything beyond the most basic effects.

No it doesn't, but I responded to the remark that Compiz Fusion requires way
less GPU performance..

Windows has never been about flashy graphics, since flashy graphics
and rotating 3D desktops and what looks like icons flying all around
are not things generally associated with productivity. I know my OS
is working when it's not in the way of the things I want to do, and
not cluttered with dumb special effects.

I can see some corporate customer sitting on a massive budget for a
new OS and trying to decide if their office workers really need wobbly
windows.

OR a glass effect, 128MB video memory, 3D bubbles, etc, RIGHT?

it does smarty pants...
the amount of memory a card has is not the same as gpu power...

the kind of gpu needed for compriz is far lower than what is needed for AER)
in crapista (ops sorry i meant vista).

I have done this, with an ati9000 you can have full compriz, but Vista snobs
it with its crappy little high in the air nose...
