I can´t to use windows update

I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bits. When I try to use windows update a
message show me " code 80070005 error, windows can not to find new updates".
What happen? anybody can to help me?.

0x80070005 - Access Denied/Permissions issue.

You can reset registry and file ACLs to their Default state by following the

Install/reinstall Windows Update Client

x86-based versions of Windows - download the WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe package now.

Please see if installing the 3.0 client resolves the problem.
