I have a 32 bit VISTA which does not allow access to a directory/file.
Whenever I try to access the directory it says "Access denied"' The
directory is MY PICTURES. What am i TO DO? It is not file dependent since
several types are involved incl jpg & mov.

Hi Buencs

It sounds like you may have ran into the files called "Junction Points
or "Reparse Points". These files cannot be modified or accessed by th
user by default. These are not really folders or files, but just rela
points to the actual file. They include all the "My ...." folders. Yo
can read more about these here

'NTFS reparse point - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTFS_reparse_point

For "My Pictures", you will need to look at "C:\Users\(you
username)\Pictures" for the actual folder.
