cannot access domain dfs root, access denied

I cannot access a domain dfs root, using the DFS tool in administrative tools
menu, windows 2003 server. I am an administrator in "domain".int, the DFS
root is located in "domain".dmz\domain dfs roots\ . I am a member of a group
that gives me domain admin rights in "domain".dmz, although my account is in
a different domain to the DFS root.

How do I check DFS root permissions on a given domain, is there anything
else I can check?

CANCELLED, DFS tree appears to be inactive on all targets.
