cannot access microsoft update or support or download pages

When I try to get anywhere close to loading a microsoft page involving an
update, knowledge base, support forum or download.. the page will not load.
It doesn't load as if it doesn't exist. Why can't I access any of these
pages? ANyone else ever run across this????

You haven't mentioned your OS or your SP level or even which browers version
you're using.

At a guess, it sounds like you may have picked up some nasty virus or malware.

I have the same problem, am running windows xp, tried a clan up with
hijackit and stillthe same problem

You'll need to clean your computer of all viruses/malware before you can use
windows update.
If you are experiencing difficulty in undertaking this, there's no shame in
admitting the same. Take the computer to a professional.
