When I get emails that has a .wmv file as an attachment. I cannot access it.
It is not highlighted so I can click on it like other files are. I have
contacted support from the computer manufactur and my ISP - no one has an
answer.

No one could answer till they knew what app you used to read your email.
Many apps, like Outlook Express and others has Options to shield you from
dangerous attachments. (a security tab in the Options settings)

Check your Control Panel for Default Programs. There you can set what
program Windows uses for each file type.

I have IE7, WMP 11 and am using windows mail (formerly known as outlook
express) Should I use MS Outlook? It doesn't matter who sends it, it's like I
don't have authorization to access it. I run under Admin

In Windows Mail, go to Tools/Options/Security Tab. Remove the check mark
from the "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could
potentially be a virus".
