Cannot add existing contacts with valid Yahoo IM to Windows Messen

I have exported my Outlook Contacts to my Windows Live account, and am trying
to consolidate all the contact information through my Windows Live account
and use it with my Windows Mobile device (running Mobile 6 software).
However, every time I try and add the contact through my mobile device, I get
the message "This instant messaging address is not valid for use with Windows
Live Messenger. Please enter a valid Windows Live ID. " Similar thing happens
when I try adding this information for the IM field through the contacts via
the Windows Live Web Account.

Any thoughts on how to get around this? There is a single contact that I had
that this worked for (yahoo account), but none other (another 40 or so).

Please somebody please reply I have exactly the same problem.... I am using
WM6 and MSN LIVE ver 10.6.0028.1100
