After installing SP2 my computer cannot boot at all, and
will not boot in any options using F8 at start up. With
Safe Mode it always stops at the line atisgkaf.sys. Can I
start my computer to selectively load each driver so I
can at least get it going? On suggestions on what is the
problem?

That error means the 'winsrv.dat' or 'winsrv.dll' file is missing or
corrupt in the Windows\System32 folder, or more likely that
the registry is corrupt.

I have the same error message as you. Working through
uninstall of SP2 with no luck.

You aren't alone my friend...my computer did the exact
same thing...only mine stops on agp440.sys when I try safe
mode. I spent hours on the phone with Microsoft technical
support...they were not able to resolve my issue. They
told me that they were still in the "testing" phase of SP2
and that maybe I should check back in a month. Can you
believe that?

So I have now reformated and I'm sticking with sp1. Think
I'll wait till next year to do the SP2...maybe by then,
they will have it fixed.

Christopher,

The issue is related to the CPU of the system :
