My Windows 2000 laptop is coming up with a found new hardware wizard for the
'infineon trusted platform module' on my HP nc6230 laptop. I can't find a
normal driver for this so I selected Windows update but it's unable to
connect to windowsupdate. It doesn't come back with an error message but I
know it's not connecting. Our internet access at my work requires a
username/password to get on and since this Windows 2000 laptop is not on the
domain there's no where to enter the username password. I can load up IE
and enter a username/password there and get online but nowhere in the 'add
hardware wizard' is there a place to enter it.

Any help would be welcome!

Thanks

Thanks Steve, I did install those drivers originally (sorry i never said so
in my original post) and even with the official HP protect tools installed
and some other piece of add-in software the TPM found new hardware wizard
would still come up. Very weird.
