And what is the name and location of this folder? Have you tried booting

1.Have you tried to remove this folder in safe mode?Did you chec
permissions for this folder
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/15...ermissions.htm
What is error message when you are trying to remove it
2.If everything fails and you can't remove it due to busy process o
wrong name the best way is to use any liveCD with linux to remove this
For example you can use this small liveCD linux 'DSL information
(http://damnsmalllinux.org/
Burn it and boot it

FYI - once you change the permissions, you may need to reboot. I've
seen instances when Vista still refused delete access even though the
file was clearly delete-able. A reboot allowed the delete.

Are you sure it is safe to delete this folder? Maybe you don't want to...

Note that if it is something like My Documents, it's a link put in to
assure compatibility with older versions of Windows.

Which or what folder is it. Is it a Windows protected folder which you cannot and
should not even try to delete. What are we talking about here. Give more info and we

i copied a folder from mmd (from my psp) and pasted it on desktop. th
folder contains an installer of a game, so the folder name is somewha
metal gear, there was a problem installing it and the installer fil
vanished, there were two files that was removed after that error, when
tried deleting the folder it said it was in use, restarted it an
renamed (error on that) and i still can't delete it.

i tried to uncheck the read-only and delete the folder but i can'
still delete it. and when i checked the properties, the read-only i
checked again. there are some files still in the folder and i can'
delete one, it's says it's in use and stuff.
