Cannot Delete Group???

Hi. I have tried out WLM 2009 during the beta, and I was creating a group
halfway when I just decided that there was no need for this group, so I just
clicked cancel (I went up to the step where I was supposed to add members to
the groups). So then there are no members in the group but the group would
not remove itself from my WLM groups section.

Please help me. Thanks.

Greetings,

You should be able to now right-click the group in Messenger, choose Leave Group and on the
web page that comes up choose 'Delete Group' on the side. Then choose the Delete button.

It will then disappear from Messenger in a few minutes. This process isn't instant I'm
afraid.

Hey Jonathan.

I saw this instructions to another person in this group. But sad to say, the
group is not removed from my contacts list yet. That’s why I preferred to
downgrade back to 8.5 and wait till I have figured a way around this, or
there will always be an additional "test" group on my Windows Live Messenger
9.

Is there any other ways?

Hi,

Not that I know of. At what point does it get stuck exactly? Do you get as far as the web
page and choosing the Delete option? Is the site for the group still there, or is that part
gone at least?

Yea done that once before already.

I just tried going to the web again. But it doesn’t exist. I suppose to
group should disappear sometime soon? Is it? Not too sure.
