I am trying to delete some prgram files on Vista. I am the only user, and I
have unchcked the "user account control". Everytime I try it sates it has to
be verified and then it comes up stating access denied.
it seems a little odd I cannot delete program files on my own computer.
Any assistance would be appreciated

Bob

I'm getting this same problem. AVG Network edition (kept on after I upgraded
from XP Pro) hasn't been working, so I have tried several times to uninstall
it. It SAYS it was successfully uninstalled, but whenever I go into Program
Files to delete the folder, everything's still there. I try to delete the
folder anyway and it gives me the same error message.
