Hello,

I am having trouble downloading mail from my isp pop3 account. Please could
somebody help? I receive the following error message:

Account: '', Server: 'pop3.ntlworld.com', Protocol:
POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid user name or password.', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Up until about 5 days ago I could retrieve mail from this account but I now
cannot

Many thanks in advance

Matthew Cabourn

I'm also having problems connecting to my mail server and these problem
didn't start until I downloaded and installed SP1 a few days ago.
Obviously that installation and my mail problems are connected.
checked my pop and smtp account numbers and nothing was changed there s
what else could be causing the problem connecting to my mail server

Go to tools>accounts>select your account>properties>server tab, and ensure
that the correct UN & PW are entered.
Also:
Check all your settings according to this, OE & WM settings are the same.

did all that already, still the same error...called dell and
suddenlink....dell can't figure it out..and suddenlink said my mail was
broken to where it won't save my p.w. and user name... =( I can however
go to webmail.suddenlink.net and log into my email from there just fine...so
the username and p.w. are correct.
