when i go and try to scan for updates i get this message......

The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem

can someone please help me ,

I get the same message and just realized I haven't had any new upates since
2005 even though my automatic updates is enabled. Any luck getting an answer?

You receive a "Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested
page" error message when you try to install an update
