Rick:
Now I truly don't understand:
I found a post on the net by a MS (labeled) person -- no I don't remember
who -- that said you had to be a member of the Trusted Installers to modify
"Shell".
That sounded reasonable, so I right-clicked the TI group, Permissions, and
added my self with Full COntrol.
So far, so good.
Then I double-clicked the following reg entry -- and it seemed to merge OK.
----------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\InternetShortcut\shell\OpenSCinI E_with_BAT]
@="Open in &IE"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\InternetShortcut\shell\OpenSCinI E_with_BAT\command]
@="\"c:\\winapps\\comm\\internet\\utils\\openSCinI E\\OpenSCinIE.bat\" \"%1\""
-------------
But nothing shows in the Context menu fro Net links on the desktop.
So now what the heck am I missing?
Regards,
Chuck Billow
