Cannot execute the files under a Chinese (Big5) Character under Vista Prenium UK Lang

I bought a new note book with Vista Prenium 32BIT OS for US languag
interface

I can see and read the directory build by chinese (BIG5) characters
However I cannot run the exe (like setup) files for those directories
The problem can be solve if I change the folders texts to englis
letter...But I cannot do that at all if running some share folder
builded by chinese characters with my colleague.

I don't want to change the os language too and I just want to know i
there any methed to solve the above problem
