Cannot find D Drive. CDs cannot be read

Never had problem with Windows Vista til today. Problem started a little bit
after uninstalling webcam software that would not fully download.

Usually when i put CDs/DVD in there they automatically pop up with out doing
anything. But now when i put CD/DVD, computer does not even read it. The
little light will blink for fews seconds but after that nothing would happen.
Not even an error message. I also cant find D drive

How can i get this working again?

Hello Monty,

Try using system restore. there should be a restore point before the
installation.
Choose the point just before the install the webcam was done.
This should restore your PC back the way it was.
