Cannot fisnish installing SP2

Toward the middle of the installation, there is an error that pops up and
says that the file access is denied and cannot override file reg 00013. I am
clueless as to how to fix this. The update is always back in the morning and
my IE is having problems. Every time I try to update it brings up the same
error and takes up alot of my time. Any help is appreciated.

Can anyone help? My message was "Unable to read from or write to the
