Cannot Get Notes Section of Contacts and Calendar to Sync to WM 6.

Help...
I cannot get the Notes section of Contacts and Calendar in Outlook 2007 to
sync with my device running Windows Mobile 6.0
I am also running Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista.

My earlier device running WM 5.0 and Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2003 did fine
syncing the Notes section of both programs.

What can I do... I really use the notes section to keep extra information
that doesn't work in the fields provided.

Hi Terri,

Would suggest you disable Contacts and Calendar Sync and allow the sync to
be complete. Then disconnect and try running scanpst. You may refer -

Once done, select these two information types once again and check.

Download a registry editor for your device. You can get one free from
http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/RegEdit/.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync
What is the value for BodyTruncation?
I recommend you set the value for "BodyTruncation" to 20480 (dec).

Reboot your device and sync again.

Hi Linley,
I ran RegEdit and navigated to the HKey\Current User as you directed me to.
When I opened Software\Microsoft there is no ActiveSync.
There is MobilePC and Windows CE Services. But neither of these have Body
Truncation. I tried to search it in the registry, but couldn't locate it.

I also downloaded the registry editor but I am not sure how to check and see
if it transferred to the IMate 9502.

You need to download the editor to your device. Get the cab file and copy it
to your device and tap to run setup.
