When I try to start windows update I get the message under, but my settings
are just what it ask for and nothing seems to help,

any suggestions??
Thanks

*Please change your Internet Explorer security settings
*To save changes to your settings for this website, you need to enable
userdata *persistence for Internet Explorer. Complete the steps below, and
then click Change *settings to the left and try saving your changes again.
*In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
*Click the Security tab, click the Internet security zone icon, and then
click Custom *Level.
*In the Settings dialog box, scroll to the Miscellaneous section.
*Under Userdata persistence , select Enable.
*Click OK and when the security warning dialog box appears, click Yes.

Hi,

This usally happens when the windows update dlls are unable to start. Try
the following

Check WUWebControl Class in Internet Explorer (IE)
======
1. Open Internet Explorer (IE). Go to Tools -> Manage Add-ons
2. Select "Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer (IE)"
3. Check WUWebControl Class in the list. If it is disabled, please enable it
and
click OK.
4. Go to test Windows Update site

Thank you

Eric

My addon is labeled MUWebControl Class (not WUWedControl) and it is enabled.
Still no luck. Any thoughts?
