I am running with Vista 64 and in general my audio works fine except when I
click on a link in a web page to an audio file. Then nothing happens when I
click on the link. This particular link also involves text to speech in that
there is a window in which you can type text and then by clicking on the
link you hear the text repeated in audio. Generally, I have been able to do
speech recognition in other applications without a problem. Anyone have any
ideas as to what is going on here and as to why I cannot hear anything?

You may want to check the settings and any protection programs you may
be running. They may be preventing it.

Could you be more specific about which settings should be checked? I have
turned off the phishing filter, popup blocker and even tried unprotected
mode for the IE browser and still no luck.
