Cannot install 896688 (IE cumulative) in Windows 2003 std eng with sp1

I keep getting 896688 as update all the time. It re-appears in automatic
updates directly (5-30 seconds) after it has been installed and wants to be
installed again and again and again... Any ideas why it will not be
installed?
