cannot install KB943985 v2

Hi, wonder if anyone can help?

This security update for EXCEL will not install on my machine and now I
cannot get exel to run unless I look for the exe in the programs file and
start it from there. Each time I try to run excel the application crashes
because the install fails. I have tried looking on the web for answers, the
only thing I have managed to find is this error number associated with the
fault off the Microsoft update site - Error Code: 0x92D. I also tried
looking for the LISTool mentioned in another post about this same problem but
cannot find it on the microsoft downloads site. I have tried lowering the
firewall on my router as well as the windows firewall, stopped my antivirus -
all with no success.

Can anyone help?

My system is running Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] and office 2003
service pack 3

1. Try placing the Office 2003 CD in the appropriate drive then try updating
Office.

2. Try an Office Repair then try updating Office.

3. Try a reinstall of Office 2003 then try updating Office.

4. Post to microsoft.public.officeupdate newsgroup instead of this one.
