If KB842773.log is not present, it usually indicates that your machine has
some malware (virus/Trojan/spyware) causing problems with the installation
of patches.
Does your computer have anti-virus and is it up to date? Please run a scan
on your machine.

software that can be used for 1 year from
http://www.my-etrust.com/microsoft/
If the scan shows that there are viruses/Trojans, please clean them up and
try the install again.
