cannot install Live messenger or ANY updated messenger!

New computer. 1 week old. cannot install Live Messenger or Messenter 7.5. get
an error: problem with file. msg22.exe. unknown publisher. file blocked. no
valid digital signature. Then it will ask if I want to go directly to site,
click yes and try to download from there but nothing happens. what could be
the issue? Like I said so many problems for a computer less than a week old.

What website are you downloading Messenger from? Can you try
http://messenger.live.com
