I'm trying to run the latest round of patches with windows update, have
logged on as myself (member of domain admins group), logged in as local
administrator for computer and I keep getting the same error "You do not have
permission to update windows XP" Can anyone tell me what's going on, I've
also noticed a similar issue when I try to set a restor point, no matter who
I'm logged in as I'm always told that I don't have the rights to do that.
Have I magically been demoted to a mere power user and am just not seeing it?
