When I run Windows Life setup program, I get the following message:

Couldn't install programs
Sorry, you cannot install the programs you've chosen on this operating
system.
Error: os_check: 0x802280004
Next steps: check the system requirements for more details.

How can I fix this?
I'm on XP Pro 64bits.

Greetings,

XP 64-bit isn't supported I'm afraid.

However, it does work. You'll just need to download the Microsoft Installer files directly
from my blog:
http://messengergeek.spaces.live.com...DA1!1723.entry

Scroll down to the Messenger category and make sure you install all the required components;
just the Messenger installed on its own isn't good enough I'm afraid.

Finally, I'm afraid I don't have the Portuguese version on there. If you would prefer that,
I'll happily grab it for you. You can install the other required components if you wish as
they're not localized in any language and you don't see them.

Thx Jonathan. I'll do that tomorrow.

But even though I am from brazil, I like to keep all my apps in english. So
.... no worries.
