Cannot Install Windows update KB938126

Any help will be appreciated -



I am trying to install Windows Update KB938126 which is required to run
my Linksys DMA2100 Media Center Extender, however when I try and run it
it says "This update does not apply to your system". The update has not
been previously installed, it is not listed in the list of installed
updates and is not bundled with service pack 1.

The reason I need to install it is my computer cannot connect to the
media center extender. It can see the extender on the network, can
ping it etc. In the media center setup it gets to the very last step
"connecting to extender" and then brings up a message saying it cannot
connect. I'm using Vista Home Premium 32bit with SP1 and a Belkin
Router.
