more than just this issue. I bought a OEM copy of XP Media center edition
and hav some related issues that I am dealing with. I hard that if I don't
have everything prepackaged like the TV card and remote etc that the OS will
not function properly. I have upgraded all my drivers succesfully and seem
to have a relative amount of success keeping this computer functioning.
Every time I start to update some of the Windows Patches I blue screen. My
initial concern is why would Microsoft sell XP media center edition if they
really inteded to lock down the OS. I built the system myself and use it
for everyting from editing videos and music etc. Please advise......
