I agree with Paul that IPv^ should be uninstalled on the XP machine. By
default it does not come with it enabled and takes a few steps to install it
manually. Curious why it was installed? Was the XP Networking Pack
installed?
Overview of the Advanced Networking Pack for Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817778
To completely disable IPv^ on XP, take a look at this:
http://www.ipv6style.jp/en/tryout/20030120/2.shtml
and this:
Windows XP stop responding when connected to the Internet
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555059
As for RRAS on a DC, it is not advised and will cause additional headaches
and problems.
