cannot load KB922770

I have tried to run the security update for microsoft Net Framework
version 2.0 through MS update and I keep getting the eroor that it has
failed. So I check my update history and the error code is 0x643 update
has failed try again or get help. I tried by downloading KB922770 and
running it offline and I get; Error 25003 error occurred while
initializing fusion.
Any ideas on how to get around this. Running MCE 2005 sp2.

No I use IE for all of my windows updates. That would have nothing to do
with downloading the update and then getting a failure with trying to
install it.

I'm having the same problem. In addition, I am always having to reload the
flash player. Any ideas on what the problem may be? I use IE7 and Google.
