Zapper --
We can determine this quickly. Type devmgmt.msc in run box and tell me
what's listed for Monitor. If your video driver is controlling the monitor,
when you expand the "monitor" listing and right click the monitor, it will
say right on the dialogue box if a video driver controls the monitor.
Vista may refer to it, but you should be able to go to the settings tab of
the Display Properties dialogue box or Vista's version of it and find out if
your monitor in fact uses the video driver. It'll tell you in those tabs
after you click the advanced button.
