I bought Polar 2.0 usb IrDA adaptor. when i loaded the driver that came with
the adaptor, it started giving me blue screen. i did some research and
according to polar website:
http://www.polarusa.com/service_repa...con2.asp?ID=11
the IRDA device should work with generic IrDA driver that are preloaded in
vista and should be plug and play. However, when i connect the IrDA device,
the device manager shows USB 2.0 IrDA Bridge, however the driver that it
shows is not the microsft one, but the Sigmatel drivers are loaded and the
device does not work. is there a way for me to have Windows driver loaded?
