I have uninstalled and installed versions of messenger. Currently I have
messenger 8.1. Also my Yahoo messenger does the same. MSN Messenger worked
fine until I upgraded to Messenger Beta. When I click on Windows Live
Messenger I get the following:

['Traceback(most recent call last):\n;'File
"c:\\pyagcore\\pyagcore/_init_.py",line 3,in<module>\n;'Import Error: No
module named shell\n']

I then click the OK and the following comes up:

Run Time Error!
C:Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Need Help!

I'm having the SAME EXACT message. I couldn't even log onto Internet
Explorer. Had to download Firefox from another computer onto zip stick and
load just to get on internet! Hope someone can help us!

I have the same also. I have resorted to using online messengers. MSN is
losing advertising money by not helping us....

I have the same problem, but I get a very large error code. Starts out the
same as yors, but has alot more on the end. Yahoo gives me the exact same.

['traceback (most recent call last):n',' File "c:\\pyacore/__init__.py",
line 3, in <module>\n',' File "C:\\program
Files\\\AGI\\commom\\win32com\\_init__.py", line 6, in <module>\n import
pythoncom\n',' File "C:\\Program Files\\AGI\\common\\pythoncom.py", line 3,
in <module>\n pywintypes.__import_ywin32_system_module__("python com",
globals())\n', "attributeError: 'module' object has no attribute
'__import_pywin32_system_module__'\n']

Has anyone found the solution to these 'pyagcore' problems? Have Microsoft
been able to sort them out? Like others I have uninstalled and installed
again but to no effect. Is Microsoft listening to us??????

Pyagcore is part of the KIWEE toolbar. If you delete all the kiwee stuff
(including from the regeristy Via: regedit), the problem diapears and all
works great again. You can re-install Kiwee after you run WLM and there is no
side effects. I spent an hour in regedit searching and deleting anything
related to kiwee and pyagcore, and all worked fine. I then re-installed Kiwee
and all still worked great.

Hope this helps.

Hi Freeze,
I tried to delete and deinstall, cant even do that..... So although that
would be the anwer, I cant do it and I have written to MS loads of times, but
of course no help what so ever, they have our money, we have bought their
products why help us... if anyone else has an idea of how I can deinstall
something that will not let me deinstall and I am unable to reset my computer
to a early date as the pre installed date is not on my choices I have no idea
what to do, Oh if only there was another choice in the computer world,
microsoft would be history and we would all be happy, they have no idea what
customer service is all about.

i had the same problem recently and fixed it in a flash.

this is how

1. Download and install Unlocker found on google by typing it
2. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to open Task Manager
3. Go to Process Tab
4. If there is a presence of kiwee.exe, click on it and press End Process.
5. Browse the Kiwee folder. C/:PROGRAM FILES/KIWEE TOOLBAR
6. Right Click on the folder, then click UNLOCKER on the options
7. Select DELETE and follow the prompts.
8. Restart your computer.

big thanks to precisesecurity.com for helping me to resolve the problem
