Cannot log on.. no error message

Hello, I am unable to log onto my MSN Messenger, I type in my email address
and password and click sign in and it just sits at Signing In.. I left it all
day yesterday and it just stays at signing in. No error messages. Can you
tell me what might be wrong with this computer. Thanks

I too am experiencing this problem. Some of my colleagues are able to log in
and out of Messenger with no problem. Hope this gets resolved soon, I need
messenger.

Same problem I am having at work. however my other colleages are able to
login and I can login from home as well. microsoft says they have identified
the problem with people using Zone Labs. I dont even have that virus
software. Need help in this issue asap. Havent been able to login for almost
10 days

Thank you so much that helped me as well. 3 days and no messenger. Yet my
wifes account on the same computer would work. We don't share the same login
but she could get on Live Messenger and I couldn't.

Try the following -- shut down Messenger entirely by right-clicking on its icon in the
notification area and choosing Exit, then download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...grsettings.reg

Then try signing in again.

Thanks, this fixed my problem signing in. Just curious though, why did this
fix change my display picture and personal message to how it was set a couple
of months ago?

I did that and it right royally shafted my WLM. Do the above and then do
a repair WLM installation

Another morning wasted on MS pap.
