Cannot make a call to mobile after changing password

After changing my Windows Live Id password, I do not see an option to make
calls in Windows Live Messenger, so I cannot make a call to mobile.

My messenger is latest version (2009). There's still 4$ left in my
Telefonica's account.

Would you please assist how to solve the problem.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but try a reboot and then try again.

I did try restarting. Still doesn't work.

However, signing in using my friend's live id, I can make the call, so the
problem is probably from my live id.
