If you have a Vista DVD boot to a command prompt from the DVD and run
bcdedit again. If you don't have a Vista DVD some OEM computers have an
option to boot to the Repair Environment from the F8 boot menu.

Im sorry that I have to post in this old thread.
But I have the same problem:
I managed to get to the command prompt but the command "bcdedit.exe
/set {current} nx AlwaysOn" doesn't work because it says he cannot find
the bcdedit file.
Don't know in which directory I have to search.
