Cannot run System Restore after Windows Genuine Advantage Update

Had trouble with installing the update for Windows Genuine Advantage and then
followed a link provided on this site and it worked. HOWEVER...After that I
could not connect to any sites in Firefox so I tried to run System Restore.
Whichever date I selected it ended up telling me it could not restore using
that date.
I still am unable to connect with Firefox!
Help!
