Cannot scan with MSUS comp is not assigned to a update services se

I recently changed my default to mozilla, but still use int ex.. E ven though
I have set up my comp for auto dloads of updates, I still check . I noticed
recently that No updates were sent , on futher checking, none had been
installed since oct 26th. I am a normal home user, win xp, inty ex 6,
service pack 2. I ran msus and it tells me that Im not assigned to the
server. It also tells me that my firewall is enabled , but 5 out of 5 int ex
network connections are enabled with exceptions ports, programs,
services.Here is some more additional infoIIs is not running on this comp?SQL
server is not installed?and or/ MDSE, I also have to change some security
internet / itranet settingsfrom custom to med. How do I find this?launching
