CANNOT SEE CLIENT MACHINES IN UPDATE CONSOLE

Hi
i have installed WSUS-2 on our DC running Windows Server 2003, our client
machines are XP pro, the installation server side seems fine however client
machines not showing in Computers in main console. i have tried all
recommended
fixes including ensuring tree is updating etc. any suggestions greatly
appreciated
