cannot select WindowsUpdate

A group policy got applied to my machine and now I cannot select how to do
Windows Update.
I "right clicked" my computer,
PROPERTIES --> AUTOMATIC UPDATES and everything is gray'd out. How can I
reset this so I can manually select the update modes.
