Cannot send emails, CAN receive them

I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7. A friend suggested I use WLM to
easily access all my email addresses. The problem is this: everytime I try
to send a message, I get a pop up telling me I need a digital ID to send it.
I have checked all the message threads and have followed the given advice. I
have unchecked all the boxes under security. I have went to WLM HELP and
entered "digital ID" which got me advice on pics. I still cannot send
emails!! Can someone please help me??

Did you also go to the Outbox and delete the messages that were there
before you made the security changes to not use Secure Mail?

Those messages are still configured to want to use a digital id and will
still fail to send. You can either delete them or double click to open
and go to Tools (ALT+T) and uncheck Digitally Sign for each message.
