Cannot send link from browser

When I attempt to send a link from Firefox Windows Vista tells me that my
email program (Microsoft Mail) is not installed properly. It was
preinstalled on my new Toshiba notebook. The mail program works fine for
everything when I am within the program. I would really like to be able to
send links directly from my browser! Suggestions?
