Cannot send Windows Live Mail

I just got this program and when I try to send or forward I get this
error message. I got Windows Live because I could not get windows mail
configured. I don't know how to fix this. I did change personal info in
the error message below, replaced namel and phone number with the *
sign.

The server does not support a SSL connection.

Server Response: 250 ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES

Ensure that you enable your account at the gmail site, and you are not using
the correct Port numbers, see the link for all the detail.
