After doing an update last night it said "Do not turn off your
computer, it will shut off automatically, updating 1 of 1 ..." for 8
hours, 3 times now I've had to hard boot my computer WHILE IT'S
WRITING TO MY DISK, I'M GOING TO LOSE EVERYTHING ON MY HARD DRIVE.
Please tell me how to fix this, this is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY MICROSOFT,
MANY USERS ARE HAVING THIS SAME PROBLEM.

See the earlier post titled "AUTOMATIC UPDATE STALLS ON SHUTDOWN" for a

Hope this helps.
