Cannot sign into Messenger

For some reason my computer has just stopped letting me sign in. I have
removed and reinstalled it and that does work, I have tried older versions,
that won't work. If I click on sign in, it tries and then just goes back to
the log in screen and just dings everytime I click on it, even to close the
box down.

I have tried all the add in files and delete files and none of it works.
Please help!!!! Getting really frustrated!

I have experienced the same problem and also with Interne Explorer (7) since
I installed the new Messenger 8.5 Beta. It seems to have cut me off from
connecting just about any MS internet product. Not only can I not connect
but each of these products locks up. (hangs) so I have to end them using the
Task Manager. I have checked my firewall settings, and other than refusing
to let Messenger act as a server, I have allowed everything. I know you were
looking for a solution, not someone else with a problem, but I haven't found
any other place to seek a solution.

Hopefully someone can help us then, cos i am getting mighty cheesed off with it

I cannot login to my hotmail account either
my msn is not working either
i keep getting some error code and it keeps telling me
that my hotmail account does not exisit and my password is incorrect even
both of them are working

Oh I don't even get any messages, just will not do a thing. I can sign in
from other machines just not this one and to be honest I am at my wits end
with it, seeing as this is my computer and don't wanna sit at other peoples.

I actually need help as well...Has anyone been able to figure this out? Its
getting frustrating....Cannot sign into Hotmail on the Windows Live....
